How can you see a sold-out show?
At every sold-out performance, the Box Office begins taking wait list reservations one hour before the showtime (i.e., 6:30 for a 7:30 show). Beginning half an hour before the show begins, wait-listed patrons will begin to be seated The first 8-10 names on our wait list are almost always accommodated. Here's why.
Even when no more tickets are available for public purchase, TheatreSquared keeps 8-10 held seats at every performance for emergency needs (primarily, patron mobility issues and ticketing errors). These seats are released 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the show.
Patrons often arrive with the bad news that a member of their party was unable to attend; these tickets are turned back to the box office, and made available for resale.
Full-price tickets are never released. However, patrons who purchase discounted tickets (i.e., Under 30) or reserve complimentary tickets through a company member or partner and are a "no show" five minutes before the start of the show may have their seats released for a refund and reissued, if a wait-listed patron can be accommodated.
So don't give up — join us at the theatre, and don't miss a remarkable show!
