T2 Education Policies and Procedures

  • As part of T2's commitment to access and inclusion, at T2 we make intentional choices in our classroom practices to be a welcoming space for peoples of all ability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We encourage you to contact Sarah Tan, Learning Programs Manager at sarahtan@theatresquared.org or 479-445-6333 (x209), prior to enrollment to discuss reasonable and respectful accommodations, and support strategies (including but not limited to any illness, injury, chronic conditions, disability, or allergy) to ensure a successful experience at T2.

  • As participants depend on their scene partners, class attendance is necessary. Consecutive absences may affect how a participant engages in the showcases or performances at the culmination of the program.  Please check your schedules before registering for a program.

However, if you/your student will be late or needs to miss a class due to an illness, please alert Sarah Tan, Learning Programs Manager, as soon as possible at sarahtan@theatresquared.org or 479-445-6333 (x209). Knowing about an absence in advance helps teachers adjust lessons accordingly.

There are no refunds or discounts for missed classes.

  • Full refunds are given if requested up to two weeks before the start of class. Refunds must be requested in writing.

We do not offer refunds for registrations canceled less than two weeks before the class starts. However, any tuition that you’ve paid for the canceled class can be used towards a future class/camp.

No refunds or make-up classes will be provided for missed classes.

We want everyone to be satisfied with their experience at T2. If, after completing the first day of class, you decide that it’s not for you, just let us know before the second class and we will refund your payment minus the first day’s tuition.

  • In order to provide everyone with a safe and supportive environment, T2 does not condone any form of physical or verbal abuse, vandalism, or the use of any and all illegal substances. Any behaviors found in violation of this policy will be addressed and the participant may be asked to leave class. . No weapons of any kind may be brought into the building.

  • We offer 10% discount on tuition if, in the same order, you register more than one student in your household; or register yourself/a student for more than one class/camp.

  • Scholarships will be granted to those families/individuals who demonstrate financial need, and who would be otherwise unable to participate in our classes.

Families/individuals applying for financial aid must complete a scholarship form, and a registration form. This secures their place in the class while the financial aid application is under consideration.

Applications and awards are accepted on a rolling basis, subject to availability.

We do not turn anyone away because of financial reasons!

    Head to Theatre2.org/scholarships to apply.

  • In the event that a class is canceled due to inclement weather, we will email all class participants. If possible, we will make up the class but if it cannot be made up, a refund will be issued.

  • T2 is not liable for the well-being and safety of participants who are around any of our facilities before a program begins or after a program ends.

  • T2 and contracted photographers reserve the right to use photos and videos taken in class for promotional and archival purposes. By signing up for class, you agree to the use of your/your students' photo in promotional materials.

  • Registrations are processed in the order they are received. Registrations are accepted as long as space is available or until the second time a class meets, whichever comes first. We do not offer prorated tuition.

  • By registering yourself/your student you agree to the following: Although every effort is made to provide a safe environment, I recognize there is always a risk of accidents. By submitting a registration, I agree to be responsible for any medical bills incurred resulting from illness or injury during my or my student’s participation at T2. I release T2 from any and all liability and/or claims or damages arising out of personal injury of any kind. If necessary, I authorize T2 to administer first aid and/or authorize medical treatment to me/my student.

  • In order to provide a safe environment for your child, siblings and guests are not permitted to accompany students into the classroom. Unless otherwise stated, parents do not participate in classes.

  • We maintain waitlists for any full classes. If a spot becomes available, we will notify you by email and/or phone in the order the waitlist registrations were received.
