Why It Matters
Help kickoff TheatreSquared's 21st season at our Season Celebration on August 29. This all-ages community event is open to everyone — a joyful afternoon celebrating the power of live theatre and the people who make it possible. Last year, this event attracted more than 500 attendees, so be sure to invite your family, friends, and fellow theatre lovers to help launch an exciting new season together!
Our goal is to raise $50,000 through Season Celebration to help keep Northwest Arkansas's professional theatre thriving and open to all. Your sponsorship is an opportunity to come together with fellow NWA organizations, businesses, and individuals to show our region that you value what the arts bring to our community—belonging, wellbeing, beauty, empathy, engagement, education, escape, and more.
Community Support Makes Live Theatre Possible!
TheatreSquared's average ticket price for our nationally acclaimed, locally produced onstage work is $35 — but it costs us $165 to put someone in that seat — a price point that's out of reach for most in our community. We believe the doors to live professional theatre should be open to all, regardless of background or financial status. Your sponsorship opens those doors.
- The gap: $130 per seat is covered by contributed revenue
- The access: every price point, from free to full price, gets the same welcome
- The stakes: professional regional theatre doesn't happen in Northwest Arkansas by accident: what's on our stage, and who gets to see it, is determined by the support behind it
- The proof: Eugene Onegin: A Bluegrass Musical, developed at our Arkansas New Play Festival, named "must-see" by the New York Times, and acclaimed by our audiences — this level of artistry is only possible through community investment
- With your support: TheatreSquared reaches 70,000+ community members annually, including access to free and low-cost tickets for 7,500+ guests at performances and community events
