T2 Teen Council
The T2 Teen Council is a unique program designed to bring together a small group of high school students from throughout Northwest Arkansas who are passionate and motivated to learn about the inner workings of a professional theatre. Council members have the opportunity to attend productions and learn from professionals that are working in the field, while they work behind the scenes to make live theatre happen.
The T2 Teen Council meets on Mondays from August through May (5:30-7pm), where snacks are provided. The meetings include play analysis and dramaturgy, visits with guest artists and discussions of productions. If a council member is unable to attend a meeting because they are currently involved in rehearsal for a production, they will just need to let us know in advance.
In addition to the meetings, council members are expected to complete service hours for the theatre over the course of the year. Service hours can be accumulated through such tasks as ushering, hanging posters, assisting in education programs for younger students, assisting with backstage tasks and completing artistic challenges.
Applications are currently closed for the 2022 - 23 Season.
Applications for the 2023 - 24 season are due by August 7, 2023. Applicants will be notified by August 14, 2023
First Meeting for the 2023 - 24 Season will be August 28, 2023
