"Matilda: The Musical" Youth Auditions
AUDITION INFORMATION
Date: Saturday, January 11
Time: 10am-1:30pm & 2:30-5pm
Location: Walker Rehearsal Room at TheatreSquared, 3rd floor
Please prepare 30 seconds of a song of your choice or a 30 second selection from Matilda: The Musical. Accompanist will be provided.
These auditions are specifically intended for local actors only. For our purposes, a local actor is defined as an actor residing and based within 60-minutes travel to TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, AR. Non-local actors are being considered for the roles of Matilda and Bruce.

Dance callbacks are scheduled for Sunday, January 12, by invitation only.

MATILDA, BRUCE, LAVENDER, AMANDA, NIGEL, ERIC, ALICE, HORTENSIA, TOMMY
Youth/Pre-teen, 9-12 years old
BIG KIDS ENSEMBLE (Perform various roles: Cook, Doctor, Escapologist, Henchmen, Parents, etc.)
Teens/Early 20s
All High School, College/University students are encouraged to audition.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Rehearsal start date: 4/21/2020|
Tentative rehearsal times: Tuesdays-Fridays, after 4pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm-8:30pm; Mondays off
Tech week start date: 5/15/2020
Must be available starting at 2pm through 5/22, excluding 5/18
First preview date: 5/20/2020 (Official Opening: 5/22/2020)
Closing date: 6/21/2020
Possible extension: 6/28/2020
For those cast in the production, additional music, dance, and/or actor training sessions may take place beginning February 2020.
Please note all rehearsal times are subject to change. Schedule flexibility is preferred.
